Kadupul Waste To Energy Plant

CellSol Group is pioneering the shift to a circular economy in Pakistan. We transform municipal waste into 24/7 baseload power, cleaning our cities and fueling our industries simultaneously.

  • The Reality: Lahore generates over 8,000 tons of waste daily. Landfills are overflowing, and traditional dumping releases harmful methane, a greenhouse gas 25x more potent than CO2.

  • The Cellsol Solution: Our Waste-to-Energy (WtE) plants incinerate non-recyclable waste in a controlled, high-temperature environment. This reduces waste volume by 90% and converts the heat into reliable electricity for the national grid and local industry.

The Process

Municipal waste is collected and delivered to our specialized bunkers.
Waste is burned at temp exceeding 850oC to ensure complete combustion.
The intense heat creates high-pressure steam in our industrial boilers.
Steam drives high-efficiency turbines to generate clean, baseload electricity.
Clean the exhaust gases to meet int. environmental standards.
